HOT n HEAVY

Hot N Heavy Smokin' Team started as a band of brotherhood. A place where the guys could kick back and cook up something good to eat. Justin Lane, owner and founder, got his start in the kitchen at the firehouse. Once he realized his knack for cooking, he set out and started Hot N Heavy purely with the intention of dominating the competition BBQ world with cooking partner, Ben Tanner. While not only a grillmaster, it was quickly realized that Justin also has a very keen hand in the kitchen. Ben Tanner stepped aside to kick off his own creative endeavor, Herbert T's Vinegar Based Sauce. Justin and Ben still like to get together time to time behind the grill but to this day, we still use Herbert T's for all of our BBQ Sauce needs.

Once word got on the street that Hot N Heavy was a nod to good eating, we found our place in the food world. We don't only do BBQ, but it's definitely one of the things we do well!
